CoGri Middle East offer a complete wire guidance installation service for the guidance of Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks or Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems.
Wire guidance is installed to improve the accuracy of materials handling equipment (MHE) in Very Narrow Aisles (VNAs). MHEs identify the wire through sensors laid lengthwise on the bottom of the vehicles at either end. The sensors detect the low frequency signal emitted from the wire embedded in the floor and transmit this data to a connected control system. The control system then locks the steering in place as the vehicle enters the aisle.
See why skilled technicians, precision, and accuracy are essential for ensuring efficient and safe operations when installing a wire guidance system for a VNA truck facility.
When choosing to go to a VNA storage set up, owners are usually offered a choice of rail or wire guidance for the control of the Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) in the aisle.
However, wire guidance offers several advantages, providing they are operating on a floor which achieves the necessary floor flatness/ levelness specification:
CoGri Middle East provide wire guidance installation services for AGV systems, as well as VNA trucks. Wire alignment, constant depth, movement detailing, and conductor protection are critical to a safe and durable system.
