CoGri Middle East (CGME) are close to completing the construction of a “jointless” floor slab for a large frozen food company, based throughout Saudi Arabia.
It’s the second project that’s been done by CGME this year in KSA, and certainly isn’t the last of the year.
“Our reputation and presence is growing very well and we have lots more work on the horizon” said Tom Hanks, General Manager for CGME.
“For this project, the client wanted steel fibre reinforced “jointless” floor slab, and so opted for a mass floor pour and Laser Grinding approach” Tom said. “We have done this previously for other clients, including two major projects similar to this in Greece, so our experience is second to none.”
The freezer store is 14,500m2 in size, and made up of four chambers. It comprises of a mixture of VNA and automated racking, and the contractor overseeing the project has a long standing relationship with CGME throughout the region.
“We’re really pleased that the floor was constructed on schedule” added Mr Hanks. “The flatness we needed was achieved, and the client is very happy so far. We’re about to start Laser Grinding the floor, and we’re excited at yet another successful project coming to fruition.”
