Superflat is a generic term given to a high tolerance floor for VNA applications.
A Defined Traffic path occurs when material handling equipment moves up and down the floor in precisely the same wheel position each time. Very Narrow Aisle warehouses are the most common application for defined traffic specifications.
CoGri Middle East offers various construction methods for acheiving Superflat floors.
Construction is the last step in the process of achieving a Defined Movement floor. There are other factors that must be given consideration very early in the design process.
With so many critical factors to take into account, the necessity for a defined movement floor must be decided before the project budget is set. Having allowed for the requisite design parameters and construction costs, the project Consultants and owner are well on the way to achieving a high quality floor.
As experienced contractors, CoGri Middle East have proven records of constructing floors to similar tolerances and are able to offer constructive advice on design, detailing and construction methodology.
It is important to remember that a good floor is the product of layers of careful work, and cannot be achieved by the frugal application of a resin at the last minute.
If the decision to commit to a Defined Movement floor is delayed, the construction options rapidly diminish. Left too late, the only solution will be to construct a conventional floor and Laser Grind it to a suitable tolerance.
